That was TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL 2022
The 37th and final edition of the TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL festival, from 1st to 11th September 2022, once again filled Hannover with dance: A total of ten productions, most with large casts, were shown at four venues (Orangerie Herrenhausen, Schauspielhaus, Ballhof Eins and Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover) across the city. As all the previous editions since the festival began in 1985, the 2022 festival offered insights into current developments on the international contemporary dance scene; three of the featured works were shown in Germany for the first time.
