The 34th edition of the TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL festival from 29 August to 7 September 2019 showed a diverse range of perspectives on contemporary dance: Five venues in Hanover (Orangerie Herrenhausen, Schauspielhaus, Ballhof Eins, Ballhof Zwei and Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover) hosted a total of ten productions, four of which were shown in Germany for the first time.
