That was TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL 2017
From 30 August to 9 September 2017, the 32nd edition of the TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL festival once again turned the venues Orangerie Herrenhausen, Schauspielhaus, Ballhof Eins and Ballhof Zwei into platforms for contemporary dance and dance-theatre. With twelve guest performances of new pieces by international artists, the festival provided over a week of compelling, cutting-edge dance. Three of the featured productions were shown for the first time in Germany. Overall, choreographers from France, Japan, Israel, Cuba, Lebanon, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Togo and Taiwan presented their latest works.
